12/25/2007: Despite record-cold December temperatures, this year's holiday bell ringing generated a record $19,602 for the Salvation Army. Over 190 local residents gave their time to ring the bell, including members of the Wellesley Kiwanis, Wellesley Rotary,Wellesley Town Employees and elected officials, the Kiwanis-sponsored Wellesley High School Key Club and numerous residents.
9/27/2007: Officers and Directors installed for 2007-2008.
5/2007: Our own John Schuler is now Lt. Governor of Division 19.
5/2007: Wellesley Kiwanis to play active role in the 9th Annual Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend. On May 19th, the Kiwanis will again host the Bike Safety Rodeo at Tailby lot starting at 9:30. On the following day, the Kiwanis along with ICAW will be serving hot dogs and bar-b-que.
12/2006: Wellesley Kiwanis set a new local record for The Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive - $18,321 raised over 24 days. One inspirational contributor was 9-year-old Wellesley resident Charlotte Oettgen, who contributed money she had made over the past two years from doing chores and babysitting to the kettle.
12/2006: Santa Claus pays a visit to the Wellesley Kiwanis and the 4th graders from the Boston Renaissance Charter School.
11/2006: Howie Carr to speak at Wellesley Kiwanis on Thursday January 11th, 2007.
